Three Ways Onto The Piste
Foil and épée, three sessions a year, eleven classes a session. Club equipment is provided for every recreational fencer, so a first season starts with nothing but running shoes.

How We Progress
The Armband System
The club trains to the armband program recommended by the Canadian Fencing Federation. Fencers earn coloured armbands in order by demonstrating footwork and technique, tactical preparation, and refereeing and coaching knowledge — so a beginner is never rushed into open bouting, and an experienced fencer is never held back drilling what they cleared two seasons ago.

First steps — stance, guard, basic footwork

Distance, simple attacks, first bouts

Compound actions, competition readiness

Advanced tactics, refereeing knowledge

Affiliate
Pay the affiliation fee to the Fédération d'escrime du Québec, through the Canadian Fencing Federation.

Register
Send us your registration through the contact form, for foil or épée. You will receive a confirmation email with the amount to pay.

Pay The Club
Pay the registration fee to the Club d'escrime Gadbois by Interac e-transfer, and you are on the floor.
